Really diggin the cinematic look, I use mostly GoPro cams for video because of the very reason of camera shake with my 7D. But the 7D with the Glidecam set-up is in a league of it’s own. A must have!

How do you get it to be so smooth? I have the 2000pro, and don’t really get it to look this smooth!

Great video, real nice use of the glidecam. I see the video is kinda cropped , did you use the magic firmware ?

great video.. just one question.. how is it that everything is in slow motion when canon 7d has 1080@24.25.30fps? you used 720@60.50 and then 2x slower? it seems even slower than that. nice..

Um could you explain to me how you got the video to look this way? are you using the standard lens that comes with the Camera because it looks amazing…
By farshaddashti, July 18, 2012 @ 5:42 pm
The video is okay , but in your editing software you should have turned the resampling on , the video is a bit jerky and shaky when your are panning ! resampling would fix it for you !

How much you paid for this camera?
By TheForgeShow, August 8, 2012 @ 5:37 pm
Canon 7Ds are about $1,500 body only.
By TheForgeShow, August 8, 2012 @ 5:39 pm
It might be the format your filming in or the software you’re using to edit your videos with. Many editing softwares degrade quality.

“ONLY”

Personally I think the programs in Final Cut Studio are amazing. I use Final Cut Pro 7 instead of the newest version (final cut pro x). Final Cut Pro X really is just a dumbed down version of final cut pro 7. I’m eventually going to but After Effects which is good for all the vfx. I’d recommend those to anyone with a mac who’s serious about video editing. They take a while to learn, and they’re expensive but they’re very advance. Once you’ve learned it, you can really do almost anything
